I dropped out of high school at 17, and I had to work studiously for years to be in a position where I could start college. The hardest part was going from working full time to full time student – that first year, I didn’t qualify for aid because of my income from being full time. My Student Choice loan allowed me to get through that first year without financial aid. Without it I don’t know how I would have been able to start my Bachelor’s degree. Now, six years later, I also have my Master’s from a prestigious school, and am working on my PhD. Thank you, Student Choice!
