Working with a credit union compared to a bank is the best financial decision I’ve made. When I was preparing to go to college I knew I was going to be paying for it myself. Since I didn’t qualify for any student grants or scholarships when I transferred to a four-year college, I knew I was going to need a student loan. Without hesitation, I went straight to my local credit union branch to see what they had to offer. It was a simple process to set up and to update each year for my needs. Being able to walk across the stage with two bachelors degrees was one of my most rewarding experiences and I couldn’t have done it without the funding. My degrees have helped me land a full time position in a field that I love! I encourage anyone who needs help financially with school to check out their local credit union.
